The attack 'does not appear to be terror-related'
A 36-year-old man was arrested in Hainaut, east London, after attacking passers-by with a sword,injuring people, announced the British police, who clarified that this attack “does not appear to be related to terrorism”.
In its statement, the police clarified that it was called before 07:00″, while eyewitnesses stated that “people were stabbed”.
A man with a sword has been arrested, police added in their statement, clarifying that based on the evidence gathered from the scene of the attack, the suspect attacked bystanders and two police officers.

“We are awaiting information on the condition of the people who were injured,” the police continued in their announcement.
We do not believe there is still a threat in the neighborhood and we are not looking for other suspects, said police official Aid Eidelekan.
“The incident does not appear to be linked to terrorism,” he added.
