We welcome the passage of the law on state guarantees, through which loans will be granted to companies and self-employed workers, after the Parliament approved the changes requested by the European institutions, says SYPRODAT.
So far no extension has been secured for the implementation of the guarantees, but there is optimism that an extension will be secured until the end of March 2022.
According to CBC data, the Banks have the possibility to grant loans since they have liquidity of 20.49 billion euros.
There are well-founded fears from SYPRODAT that the number of those who will benefit will be limited, mainly because the Banks grant loans with strict terms but also high interest rates for small and medium enterprises, while showing preference for large enterprises.
Finally, SYPRODAT emphasizes that we consider this phenomenon to be harmful to the economy and what the economy needs is support, which will occur through the provision of liquidity to as many viable companies as possible.
