They are studying the mediation proposal of the Ministry of Labor for the collective agreement in the hotel industry, says the General Secretary of SYXKA – PEO noting that issues in the proposal leave no room for acceptance
“There are enough issues that leave no room for us to agree on the overall package of the mediation proposal” of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance for the renewal of the collective agreement in the hotel industry, the General Secretary SYXKA told KYPE – PEO Neophytos Timinis.
Mr. Timinis said that after receiving the proposal, today, from the Ministry, the Secretariat of the guild held a preliminary discussion about its content.< /p>
“There are issues which unfortunately seem not to be ensured to the extent they should be in order to be applied to all employees by all hoteliers”, he added.
SG SYXKA – PEO also said that a session of the board of the guild has been convened next Monday, in the afternoon, to inform the House, adding that during the session “we will also make our final decisions”.
“The position that will taken will be on the whole of the mediation proposal”, he concluded.
