Information confirmed by Gothenburg the transfer of Andronikos Kakoullis from Omonia to the Swedish team.
The team's technical director Ola Larson said in his statements after the 0-0 draw with Varnamos:
“I thought the transfer was finished but it turned out that there were other wishes. It got weird. It didn't end well. Unfortunately it broke down”.
Asked if it was Gothenburg who changed the terms, he replied: “No, maybe from both sides. It became a bit of a mess and I'd say we let it go”.
When asked to confirm that the transfer has finally collapsed, he said: “We'll see. But that's how it looks… Unfortunately it broke”.
