TAE Paphos is investigating two burglary cases

TAE Paphos is investigating two burglary cases at a residence and at an Aesthetics Institute.

According to the Spokesperson and Head of the Paphos TAE, Michalis Nikolaou, it was reported yesterday that around 15:00 a person tried to break in and enter a house in Paphos. The specific one was noticed and fled.

Mr. Nikolaou said that it is alleged that during the departure of the alleged perpetrator, his mobile phone allegedly fell, based on which the Police, continued, secured the details of the would-be burglar. From further examinations of the Police, it became clear that this is a 24-year-old permanent resident of Paphos. An arrest warrant has been issued against the 24-year-old and he is wanted.

In another case, a case of conspiracy to commit a crime, burglary and theft against an 18-year-old is being investigated, while the evidence of a second person is also sought.

According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos, Michalis Ioannou, a 23-year-old man working at an Aesthetics Institute in Chloraka was reported to the Paphos Police Department that items worth a total of about 1000 euros were stolen from the Aesthetics Institute. Members of TAE Paphos went to the scene and from further examinations it became clear that in the store there is a closed monitoring circuit which was inspected and one of the two perpetrators was identified. He is 18 years old. An arrest warrant has been issued against him and he is wanted.

A second person is also alleged to be involved in the case.

The examinations are continued by the Paphos Police.
