The new school year 2024-2025 starts from today Monday, for teachers of all levels and as the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Athina Michailidou, had stated in her interview with KYPE, which was published yesterday Sunday, this year will definitely be better than the previous ones, “because we implement our goals, we implement the policies we have announced”.
It is reminded that on Friday, September 6, all Secondary Education students return to school, and Monday, September 9 is expected to ring the first bell for all children in public Primary, Kindergarten and Special Schools.
During the new school year, the number of teachers rises to 5,044, while for this year, the total number of Secondary General Education teachers expected to serve will reach 7,031.
Regarding Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training (MTEK), the number of trainers is 667.
