The black list of dead patients with coronavirus is getting longer, after the Ministry of Health announced the death of ten more people, recorded in the last week, bringing the total number of dead to 1,280. At the same time, another 2,667 new cases were detected, from a total of 68,093 diagnostic tests.
The Ministry of Health announces that for the week of January 13 – 19, 2023:

- 90 patients with COVID-19 are hospitalized in OKYPY hospitals
- 18 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/5 intubated, MAF: 13)
- 3 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in the Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- Performed overall 68,093 diagnostic tests
- 2,667 new cases detected (total 640,729 cases).
- Positivity rate in all tests 3.92%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR) :
- 1,959 molecular tests were carried out
- There were 205 positive cases
- Positivity rate 10.46%
Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (Rapid Test ):
- 66,134 Rapid Antigen Tests Performed
- 2,462 Results b> positive incidents
- Positive rate 3.72%

Through the programs of the Ministry of Health 23,723 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 275 positive cases were detected.
- Sampling points: 15,456 rapid detection tests, 161 positive cases were detected (percent of positivity 1.04%)
Education
- Primary Education: 1.004< /b> rapid antigen detection test, 4 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0.4%)
Other< /b>
- Nursing homes: 5,669 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 105 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.85 %)
- Closed structures: 1,594 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 5 new cases detected (positivity rate 0.31 %).
