“Test to stay” for teachers from Monday, March 14 – The instructions of the Ministry of Health and all the points (list)

The implementation of the measure “test to stay” in Primary and Secondary education of the Public and Private sector, is addressed to students and teachers who are close contacts of a confirmed positive incident and according to the protocol are obliged to self-restraint.

Instructions for teachers :

• Teachers in Public and Private Secondary and Primary Education (primary, kindergartens, special schools) which are close contacts within the school premises and make use of the application of the measure “ test to stay ” will be able to attend the designated points in schools or clinical laboratories announced daily by the Ministry of Health, to perform a rapid antigen test (Rapid test) daily for the period of 7 consecutive days after the contact. It is understood that during the weekend, the “ test to procedure is not requiredstay ”.
• The measure is aimed at teachers who do not have a history of vaccination, or have received at least one dose of vaccine, or have completed their vaccination schedule and have the period of 7 months has passed, or they have fallen ill and the period of 90 days has passed.
• The measure has no retroactive effect. It is addressed to teachers who will be declared close contacts of a confirmed positive incident from Monday, March 14, 2022.
• The examination will be provided free of charge.
• O i teachers who will not use this measure in case they are in contact with a positive incident, should make use of the special leave of absence.
• Teachers who are in close contact will receive the Check Record Form who will present for the period of 7 days when they arrive at the predetermined points and then demonstrate it upon entering the school unit.

• This measure concerns & # 8217; only during school hours (including single all-day schools and optional all-day schools) and after teachers leave school, they will have to restrict themselves, as they Afternoon activities.

Instructions for students :

• Adherence to the above measure is optional and is addressed only to students who are close contacts of a confirmed positive COVID-19 incident and according to a protocol should limit themselves and declared within the school, as defined by the health protocol governing the school units (two meters away from all directions of the positive incident, inside the classroom, during breaks, during sports and during transport with private vehicle).

Specifically:

• Students who do not have a history of vaccination, or have received at least one dose of vaccine, or who have become ill and the 90-day period has elapsed, have the option of either being restricted for 10 days as provided in the relevant protocol or released on the 7th day after Rapid antigen test (Rapid test) or PCR laboratory test, or come to the predetermined points for a rapid antigen test (Rapid test) daily for a period of 7 consecutive days after contact. It is understood that during the weekend, the “ test to stay ”.
• Students participating in the“ test to > stay ”, are not obliged to come to the pre-determined sampling points referred to them by the Ministry of Health for rapid antigen detection test ( Rapid test ) on the 3rd and 5th day from the date of contact.
• This measure concerns & # 8217; only during school hours (including single all-day schools and optional all-day schools) and after leaving close contact with schools, they should be restricted other afternoon activities (such as tutoring, sports, etc.)
• Students should avoid being transported by public transport and going to school by private vehicle.
• The absence of three students from the classroom during the laboratory process It will be justified.
• It is clarified that, if a person is tested in the afternoon and is found to be positive, his contacts at school will be able to use the application of the measure & # 8220; test to stay & # 8221 ;.
• Primary and secondary school students living in remote or mountainous communities will continue to be served by the sampling points that will visit the schools.
• In any case, the responsibility of accompanying and supervising the children who will come to the sampling centers located in the schools, have the parents/guardians.

On Monday, March 14, 2022, a total of 352 points will operate, of which 254 in school units and 98 in clinical laboratories.

• The specific points will operate from 7:00 am to 8:00 am for the best service of the people who will be close contacts. (For students of Secondary Education it is recommended that they arrive between the hours of 07:00 – 07:30, so that there is no further loss of teaching time).
