Campaign to check inflatables and other marine/water items by Consumer Protection Agency – It covered 139 properties for sale all over Cyprus – 13 inflatables and other sea/water items were identified, which presented hazards – In another 12 cases, recommendations were made to economic operators
The Consumer Protection Service, taking into account the risks involved in inflatables and other sea/water items, especially during the summer months, where there are many such items available on the market and their use is high, conducted during the period 25/06 /2024-05/07/2024 inspection campaign on inflatables and other sea/water items.
As stated in an announcement, the campaign covered 139 properties for sale throughout Cyprus. strong>, in which on-site inspections were carried out with the aim of identifying and withdrawing dangerous inflatables and other sea/water items, as well as informing economic operators. Specifically, 13 inflatables and other sea/water items were identified, which presented risks and for which the process of withdrawing them from the market has begun while in other 12 cases recommendations were made to the economic operators to take corrective measures.
The products that presented risks are the following:
