The abandoned villages of Cyprus are much more than what we know.
We tracked down the Cypriot Konstantinos Lakkotrypis, who after visiting the most popular villages of Cyprus, chose to explore some of the abandoned villages which hide their own unique beauty!
In a conversation with him, he told us that "our Cyprus is beautiful with so many hidden beauties. The idea for the abandoned villages came to me, because I was looking for ideas for day trips all over Cyprus. I started with the "known" villages, such as Fikardou, Finikas, Kosii, etc. and finally I ended up with 35 villages! We already visited Drapia and Parsata on Sunday with my company and I think the list was worth it,», he tells us.
The abandoned villages, which he visited are Parsata and Drapia and from there he sent us some photos.

Of course, Constantine's list of beautiful abandoned villages is long. The villages he mentioned to us are Aleuga, Kosi, Plastinda, Prastio, Mousere, Petrofani, Kurdaka, Paliabela, Softades, Skouriotissa, Pitarkou, Meladia, Falia, Alassa, Filani, Souriotissa "Sixty Houses", Zacharia, Melandra, Frodisia, Vikla, Syfyllos, Evretou, Sarama, Palaia Theletra, Finikas, Souskiou, Bretsia, Fikardou, Gerovasa, the Agios Sozomenos.
