On March 9, 2023, the presentation of the study by the Cyprus Human Resources Development Authority (HRDA) “Forecasts of labor force demand and supply in the Cypriot economy 2022-2032” was successfully carried out. The aim of the event was to highlight the ever-changing landscape in the labor market, but also to promote the use of the study for policy-making, by the competent bodies such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance and the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.
In the presentation that took place at the offices of the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Minister of Labor and Social Insurance Mr. Yiannis Panagiotou, as well as representatives of relevant organizations and social partners, attended.
In his greeting, the Minister of Labor and Social Insurance focused on the importance of lifelong learning. The Minister emphasized that nowadays, which are characterized by constant and rapid changes, every professional must constantly renew his knowledge and skills, in order to be able to adequately respond to the new requirements. Also, the Minister linked the results of the study with what needs to be done through the Recovery and Resilience Plan of Cyprus, for the period 2021-2026.

The event culminated with the detailed and extremely interesting presentation of study by Mr. Stelios Mytidis, Human Resources Officer 1st Class and from the presentation of the online tool with the forecasts for each of the 309 occupations of the Cypriot economy by Mr. Alexis Ioannou, Human Resources Officer.
So much the study as well as the detailed forecasts for each profession have been posted on the ANAD website (https://www.anad.org.cy/) for all interested parties.< /p>
