The Department of Geological Survey of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 and local time 07:53, an earthquake of magnitude M = 3.3 on the Richter scale was recorded by the seismological network of the Department.
The quake, according to an announcement by the Department, had its epicenter in the Gerasa area, 15 kilometers northwest of Limassol and a focal depth of 15 kilometers. The earthquake was slightly felt in the province of Limassol and felt in the provinces of Paphos and Nicosia.
