Police investigations are focused on the identity of those present regarding yesterday's case of armed robbery at a private property in a secluded area in Agios Georgios Alamanos, in Limassol, with the aim of identifying evidence that will lead to the perpetrators.
A team of investigators has already been set up with the participation of the TAE Limassol and members of the TAE Headquarters, with the police authorities in contact with the manager of the private property where the incident took place, in order to obtain information about the patrons. The verification of the details of the patrons present is considered extremely important in the efforts of the authorities to establish the motives of the perpetrators.
The investigations concern, among other things, the attempt to locate a closed circuit, but it is not considered easy as it is an isolated area.
The scene remains blocked and various evidence is being collected by the forensic service of the Police.< /p>
They broke into a house with weapons
The armed robbery took place around 9:30 last night in a private house, where about 30 Russians were.
As stated in Politis 107.6 & 97.6, Police spokesman Christos Andreou, four hooded men, short-barreled shotguns and a pistol entered the premises, fired shots into the air, forcing all those present to lie on the ground. In fact, the perpetrators tied the patrons' hands with plastic cables. Then they grabbed wallets, cellphones, watches, car keys and ran away.
The four attackers injured the head of two of the bystanders who resisted. The first information indicates that the stolen property is estimated at 20 thousand euros.
