After the Parents' Association of Lanitei High School and the Parents' Association of the Apostles Peter and Paul High School, in Limassol, requests the intervention of of the Minister of Education for the curriculum, requesting the cancellation of the four months for final students and warning of strong measures after December 5.
In its letter to the Minister of Education, the Parents' Association states that the students and female students, the final students face problems with the increased curriculum, the pilot program for the introduction of French in second and third high schools and the lack, as he claims, of communication and agreement between examiners.
The Association he notes that the teaching time has decreased due to the implementation of the four months, while due to the fact that the final students are the generation of the pandemic and reduced attendance, gaps have been created.
Saying that he is fully in line with the implementation of the four months as well as the introduction of the French language up to the 3rd Lyceum, the association emphasizes that these cannot be done “in an amateur way, without proper planning and at the expense of the subjects being examined of”.
