The award ceremony of the companies on the Best Workplaces™ for Women in Cyprus 2024 list was held

Held on March 28 at the Amathus Hotel in Limassol, the recognition and award ceremony for the companies that have been included in the Best Workplaces™ for Women in Cyprus 2024 list.

This institution, which has been established in many countries , where Great Place To Work® operates, took place this year for the first time in Cyprus.

In her speech, Lenia Iakovidou, Executive Director of Great Place To Work® Cyprus, noted that? “The mission of Great Place To Work® is to help and support businesses to create a great environment for all their employees, no matter who they are or what they do. Inevitably, the values ​​of equality and respect for diversity are an integral part of our philosophy. The Best Workplaces™ for Women in Cyprus list institution that we are establishing from this year is connected to this philosophy.”

Category Medium< /strong> Companies (100 – 250  people)

The companies that were distinguished satisfied specific criteria in matters of equality. In order for a company to be a candidate for this distinction, apart from the fact that it had to have achieved the certification  Great Place To Work®, an additional condition was the percentage of female employees and their participation in the management team.

Then the selection of companies became businesses  based on the results of the Trust Index© survey that generally describe the evaluation of the working environment by women as well as the results of the questions that are either directly related to the topic of equality in general or concern aspects of the working environment that specifically affect women.

The sponsor of the institution is the company Prospectacy which was represented by Aleksandra Rudis with her speech. Stella Kammitsi, Vice President of BPW Cyprus, Supporter of the institution, also addressed a short greeting.
