The publication of the Giorkatzi List is on the agenda of the plenary session, with the Draft Decision of the Ad Hoc Committee being brought before the body, as the Speaker of the Parliament, Adamos Adamou, stated yesterday.
The decision that is expected to be taken today for the publication of the list is the 3rd, with all the data converging that this time it will be made public as the Ad Hoc committee received opinions from three reputable lawyers and the consent of the parties for their positive vote. However, the attitude of the MPs, whose name is on the List, is a big question mark.

The beginning of the plenary session of the Parliament is delayed by half an hour.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Speaker of the Parliament, Adamos Adamou, noted that the work will begin with the number nine issue concerning the Giorkatzi list. Annita Dimitriou read the Draft Decision of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Giorkatzi List. Briefly, according to the opinion of external legal advisers, it is judged that a new decision is required from the body of Parliament. The list of Giorkatzi will be published as it was submitted by Mrs. Giorkatzi without interventions. Political leaders have been given time to take a stand on the issue. Anna Theologou did not want to use her time to position herself. Subsequently, on behalf of the Solidarity Movement, he spoke, stating that his party is in favor of publishing the Giorkatzi list, supporting any action for cleansing and transparency. The Cooperation of Democratic Forces through Angelos Votsis noted readiness to vote again for the publication of the list, underlining the strong initiative of Adamos for the publication of the List. He also stressed that the initiative of the Auditor General is expected, who stated that he would have the investigation for 14 politicians who were granted a favorable settlement of their loans. ELAM is also voting in favor, as stated by the party MP Linos Papagiannis from the floor of Parliament for reasons of transparency and clear depiction of reality and society. Probably, he said, some should not be on the list. But I'm sure some on the list have their nests soiled. Addressing AKEL, Linos Papagiannis wondered if there are AKEL executives on the List who paid their contributions to the party, but left their loans unserved. Our position, said Mr. Papagiannis, is that the Ad Hoc committee should continue its operation. How the publication will be done
As Mr. Adamou clarified, the Giorkatzi List will be made public as part of the minutes of the plenary session of the Parliament which will be posted on the website of the Parliament and will be accessible to the citizens. He noted, however, that the list will refer to the period which Ms. Giorkatzi had submitted to the House of Representatives without being updated. Under these circumstances, many of the data have already changed in relation to the Non-Performing Loans held by Politically Exposed Persons.
