ΑρχΙζει το κυ&nu γσπιλα ρεπει να ξερετε /></p> <p> The scavenger hunt begins next Sunday. </p> <p>The Department of Forestry, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, due to the start of the hunting season (fassa hunting) on  Sunday, August 25, 2024, makes a fervent appeal to hunters to be especially careful during their outings in rural and forest areas, completely avoiding actions and activities likely to cause a fire.</p> <p>That is, to completely avoid lighting a fire for any reason, as well as throwing lit cigarette butts and matches, since the prevailing weather conditions are particularly favorable for the explosion and spread of fires.</p> <p> It is also emphasized that the disposal in the environment of empty cartridges constitutes serious pollution and that this is also prohibited by the "On the Protection and Management of Wild Birds and Game Law". Therefore, the hunters are called as they collect the empty cartridges.</p> <p> It is reminded that it is strictly forbidden to start a fire in the forest and rural areas and that this action constitutes an offense, which, according to the Forestry Law, is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years or a fine of up to €50,000.00 or both penalties together. The lighting of a fire is only allowed in the specially designed grills of the excursion areas of the Department of Forestry for the preparation of food. </p> <p> It is emphasized that the consequences of fires are incalculable.</p> <p> Finally, anyone who perceives smoke or fire in or near the forests is urged to immediately call 1407 (Forest Department) or 112 (Fire Service).</p> <p><noindex></p> <div class=Source: www.sigmalive.com
