According to the Municipality of Limassol, the budget for the year 2023, approved at last night's session, is balanced, surplus and strongly developmental municipal council.
As stated in an announcement by the Municipality of Limassol, the total revenue is €54 million and the total expenditure is €49 million, while the development costs amount to €26 millions.
“The 2023 Budget reflects a home-run Municipality that operates on the basis of good administration and transparency. It expresses our vision and strategy for a modern city, focused on the goal of the well-being and quality of life of the citizen, a pioneer in matters of development and business activity, but also in matters of culture, sports and social cohesion”, says Mayor Nikos Nikolaidis.< /p>
The Municipality of Limassol adds, responds fully adequately to the new conditions and needs of the coming acute economic crisis and with a prudent economic policy, continues the important projects and actions that make the city a pioneer, in the country and the surrounding area.
The budget, for the second consecutive year, does not foresee any increase in fees and taxes, except for the €20 cemetery fee per household, the announcement notes.
