<p>As it states in its announcement, the third payment request of Cyprus concerns 12 milestones and 4 targets. It covers reforms that support investment initiatives, enhance the productivity and efficiency of public administration, improve the system of issuing and transferring property titles and lead to the digital transformation of the Cyprus Police.</p>
<p>The request also covers significant investments in areas such as healthcare, research and development, the digitization of small and medium-sized enterprises to enhance their productivity, the improvement of connectivity, through the upgrading of internet infrastructure, and the improvement of the monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions from the agricultural sector of Cyprus .</p>
<p>The Commission states that it will now assess the request and then send to the Economic and Financial Committee of the Council its preliminary assessment of Cyprus's fulfillment of the milestones and targets required for the due payment.</p>
<p>The overall Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan will be financed with 1.22 billion euros, of which 1.02 billion euros will be allocated in the form of grants and 200 million euros with the form of loans, he concludes.</p>
