In a written announcement of the Municipality of Paralimni it is stated that «the diving of the Holy Cross took place on the beach next to the chapel of Apostolos Andreas in the area of Nissi in Protaras. Young and old dived into the sea to take the Holy Cross and receive His blessing.
The Consecration of the Water ceremony was preceded by the Divine Liturgy of the feast of the Epiphany in all the Churches of the parishes of the Municipality of Paralimni.< /p>
It is noted that a diving ceremony of the Holy Cross was also held on Thursday morning at the chapel of Agios Nikolaos in the fishing shelter and marina of Paralimni.
