The Federation of Employers & of Industry (OEB) responding to a request from cooperative drug stores for their organization and collective representation, announces the creation of the Pancypriot Association of Cooperative Drug Stores (PA.SY.S.A.F.) which joined the strength of the members of the Federation.
Members of the newly established Association are companies active in the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products with the status of cooperative owned by pharmacists. The Members of PA.SY.S.A.F. they serve 80% of private pharmacies and carry out hundreds of deliveries of pharmaceutical products daily.
The sector of cooperative drug stores is a dynamically developing sector which plays a key role in the marketing and distribution of pharmaceutical products according to the modern needs of pharmacies and patients.
The aim of the Association is the recognition and institutionalization of role of the cooperative drug warehouses, the assurance of adequacy and seamless supply of drugs in a transparent environment in cooperation with all the agencies within the framework of the operation of the General Health System.
The first Board of Directors of PA.SY .S.A.F. is made up of:

Secretary: Andreas Theofanous (BLUE PHARMACIES).
Treasurer: Andreas Charalambidis ( MEFAL).
The inclusion of PA.SY.S.A.F. further strengthens the position of the OEB as the most representative Organization of the Health sector with the majority of health service providers as Members, both within the framework of the NHS and more widely.
