The procedure for the “test to stay” measure in the National Guard is expected to be submitted to the Council of Ministers on Wednesday for approval.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Christos Pieris, told KYPE that the Minister of Defense, Charalambos Petridis, will submit to the Council of Ministers a proposal for approval of the procedure for the implementation of the “test to stay” measure in the National Guard. The Ministry had approved last week an extension of the measure, which is already applied in schools, to the National Guard, and today it is expected to approve the protocol that will be followed.
The Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandela, is not expected to take part in the Ministerial meeting, which is scheduled for 10:00, after he was recently diagnosed with Covid-19.
According to information from the Ministry of Health, next Tuesday, Mr. Hadjipandela will have a meeting at 07:40 with the members of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SCC) and later the same day, at 9:00 he will go to the Ministry. The Minister of Health will receive the suggestions of the members of the TEU within the week and will be discussed on Tuesday.
