The course of the Retail Operations index in 2021 is upward

The Retail Turnover Value Index increased in August 2021 by 9.1% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (Table 1). During the same month, the Retail Turnover Volume Index increased by 2.9% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (Table 2).

For the period January – August 2021, the value index is estimated to have increased by 8.7% and the volume index by 7.4% compared to the same period of 2020.
