The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) closed down on Wednesday, with the General Index registering a loss of 0.22%, closing at 134.48 points.
Similar the image of the FTSE/CySE 20 Index, which closed at 81.69 points, also recording a loss of 0.15%
The value of transactions was €257,993.
Regarding the individual stock market indices, the biggest drop was registered by Hotels by 4.04%, followed by the Alternative Market with losses of 0.91%. Profits were recorded by Investments by 1.40% and the Main Market by 0.20%.
Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investment interest with €185,785 (closing price €3.30 – drop 0. 90%), Cyprus Cement Company with €44,924 (closing price €0.66 – down 6.38%), Hellenic Bank with €14,985 (closing price €2.27 – no change), Dimitra Investments with € 4,558 (closing price €0.70 – up 1.44%) and Atlantic Insurance with €4,457 (closing price €1.68 – down 1.75).
Of the shares traded, 6 moved up, 4 down, while 2 remained unchanged. The number of transactions reached 76.
