<p>The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Tuesday, amid a bullish mood in international markets, due to the latest data announced on producer prices in the US.</p>
<p>The General Index stood at 165.59 points , registering a rise of 0.97%. The FTSE/CySE 20 closed at 100.81 points, up 1%.</p>
<p>The value of the transactions was particularly high, also due to pre-agreed transactions involving Hellenic Bank and Dimitra Investments, and amounted to 800,010 euros, of which 786,081 euros related to shares and 13,929 bonds.</p>
<p>All profits were closed individual stock indices. The biggest increase was registered by Hotels by 4.30%, followed by Investments with an increase of 3.24%, the Main Market with an increase of 1.22% and the Alternative Market with gains of 0.53%.</p>
<p>The the most marketable share was Dimitra Investments with a trading volume of 312,412 euros (closing price of 1.25 euros – up 3.31%), followed by the share of Bank of Cyprus with a volume of 241,810 euros (closing price of 4.02 euros – down 1, 47%), the Hellenic Bank share with a volume of 191,801 euros (closing price 2.76 euros – 2.22% increase), the Logicom share with a trading volume of 10,268 euros (closing price 3.02 euros – 0.67% increase ) and the Vassiliko Cement Company share with a volume of 7,000 euros (closing price of 3.5 euros – no change).</p>
<p>Of the traded shares, 13 moved up, 5 down and 1 closed unchanged. The number of transactions amounted to 205.</p>
