The CSE closed with gains on Friday, registering a weekly increase

The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 66.03 points, also recording gains of 0.95%.

Profits were recorded in today's last stock market meeting of the week, the Cyprus Stock Exchange. The General Index closed on Friday at 109.16 points, marking an increase of 0.95%. The value of transactions amounted to €225,093.58.

The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 66.03 points, also recording gains of 0.95%.

In weekly based on the CSE recorded an increase of 1.64% or 1.76 points.

As for the individual stock market indices, gains were recorded on Friday by the Main Market index at a rate of 1.08% and the Alternative Market at 0.17%, while losses were recorded by the Investors index at a rate of 0.94% and the Hotels at 0.63% %.

The greatest investment interest was attracted by the securities of Vassilikos Cement Works with €96,661.2 (closing price €2.74 – increase of 1.48%), Bank of Cyprus with €90,870.08 (closing price €2.56 – up 1.19%), Hellenic Bank at €9,851.47 (closing price €1.795 – up 2.57%), Louis at €6,720 (closing price €0.084 – down 2.89%) and Demetra Holdings with €6,364 (closing price €0.5 – down 0.99%).

Of the stocks traded, 7 moved up, 5 moved down and 2 were unchanged. The number of transactions reached 80.

In the meantime, the Council of the Cyprus Stock Exchange decided that the securities of the companies C.O. Cyprus Opportunity Energy Public Company Ltd, Global Digital Services Plc, Pandora Consultancy Services Plc and The Reputation Exchange Plc, continue to be listed as (S), on the trading tables and price lists, in addition to the other continuing obligations that they do not meet and for the non-submission and publication of the distribution of their share capital on the last working day of the calendar year 2022 [paragraph 5.3.7.1.(c) of the KDP 379/2014 (as amended)].

According to announcement of the CSE, this decision of the Board of the Stock Exchange was taken based on provision 2.2.6A(c) of the Code of Civil Procedure 379/2014 (as amended) regarding a Non-Regulated Market issuer.

In addition, the Cyprus Stock Exchange, after the end of the submission and publication period (April 30, 2023) of the Annual Financial Report of listed companies on the CSE for the year ending on December 31, 2022, (based on the provisions of Articles 140 and 154 of the Securities and Stock Exchange of Cyprus Law), announced that the following companies which are listed on the NEA Agora have not issued and made public their Annual Financial Report, for the year ending on December 31, 2022:

Toriase Public Company Ltd, Mr. Pengu Public Company Ltd, Altrecom Plc, Meditrina Cyprus Plc, D&S Anastopoulos S.A., Upyachting Management Plc, Wealthavenue Plc, The Cyprus Development Bank Public Company Ltd, G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Public Ltd, The Reputation Exchange Plc (securities are under suspension), C.O. Cyprus Opportunity Energy Public Company Ltd (securities are suspended), All Invest Securities Ltd (securities are suspended), Aichmi SA. Investment Consultants (securities are suspended), Pandora Consultancy Services Plc (securities are suspended).

Furthermore, the Cyprus Stock Exchange notes, based on paragraph 2.2.6(A)( c) of KDP 379/2014 (as amended) as well as its Policy Decision regarding the suspension and deletion of values ​​in its Markets (Circular No.: 01/2018, 02/2018, dated 1/23/2018), the following:

(A) the presentation marked (S) on the trading tables and price bulletins of the securities of the following companies, from Wednesday, May 17, 2023: Toriase Public Company Ltd, Mr. Pengu Public Company Ltd, Altrecom Plc, Meditrina Cyprus Plc, D&S Anastopoulos S.A., Upyachting Management Plc, Wealthavenue Plc, The Cyprus Development Bank Public Company Ltd.

(B) the continued presentation marked (Σ ) on the trading tables and the securities price bulletins of the securities of the company G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Public Ltd.

(C) the continuation of the trading suspension of the securities of the following companies: The Reputation Exchange Plc, C.O. Cyprus Opportunity Energy Public Company Ltd, All Invest Securities Ltd, Aichmi S.A. Investment Advisors, Pandora Consultancy Services Plc.

The CSE clarifies that the Board will remove the (S) marking from the trading tables and price lists or lift the trading suspension when it finds that the reasons led to the presentation of the marking or suspension in the securities of the companies, will have disappeared.
