The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) closed with gains on Wednesday. The General Index, recording gains of 0.41%, reached 116.78 points. The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 70.66 points, registering a negligible decrease of 0.43%. The daily turnover amounted to €410,570.04, mainly due to transactions in Bank of Cyprus securities.
Of the individual stock market indexes, the Main Market recorded gains of 0.40% and the Alternative Market 0.21%. Investment Companies recorded a 1.75% drop, while Hotels closed unchanged.
The Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investment interest with €365,091.38 (up 0.72% – closing price €2 ,80). The shares of Hellenic Bank followed with €7,047.51 (up 0.79% – closing price €1.905), Logicom with €6,450.24 (up 1.71% – closing price €2.38), KEO with € 6,390 (down 1.85% – closing price €1.59) and of LCP Holdings and Investments with €4,791.55 (up 3.8% – closing price €0.081).
Of the shares that traded, eight moved higher, five declined and five remained unchanged.
