The Cyprus Stock Exchange closed with losses on Friday. The General Index stood at 107.40 points, registering a decrease of 0.32%. On a weekly basis the General Index increased by 0.62%.

On Friday the FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 64.97 points with losses of 0.32%. The total value of the transactions was €165,198.35, of which €37,500 were bonds and €127,698 were shares.

All individual stock market indices fell. Hotels suffered the biggest losses by 1.83%, followed by Investment by 0.91%, Alternative by 0.61% and Main Market by 0.23%.

The greatest investment interest gathered the share of Bank of Cyprus with €59,372 (closing price 2.41 euros – up 0.42%), followed by the share of K+G Complex with €21,817, (closing price 0.28 euros – no change), Dimitra Investment with €10,138 (closing price €0.52 – down 0.95%), Hellenic Bank with €9,971 (closing price €1.78 – down 0.84%) and Blue Island with €7,487 (closing price € 0.91 – up 1.11%).

Of the shares traded, 7 moved up, 8 down and 4 closed flat. The number of transactions was 126.
