The CSE ended the week with a significant rise

<p>The trading on the Cyprus Stock Exchange ended on Friday with a significant increase, with the General Index closing at 168.66 points, marking an increase of 1.67%.</p>
<p>On a weekly basis, the CSE recorded gains of 3.26%%, recovering from the decline seen in international stock markets last week.</p>
<p>The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 102.70 points, also recording significant gains of 1 ,70%. The value of the transactions amounted to €654,308.76.</p>
<p>All individual indices also moved upwards, with the Investment Companies showing an increase of 4.33%, the Main Market by 2.27% and the Hotels by 1.72%. The only exception was the Alternative Market index, which remained unchanged.</p>
<p>Bank of Cyprus securities gathered the most investment interest with €421,076.51 (up 2.44% – closing price €4.19) , of Hellenic Bank with €57,092.86 (up 0.73% – closing price €2.77), of Demetra Holdings with €78,122.98 (up 4.42% – closing price €1.3), of Vassilikos Cement €17,500 (down 0.57% – closing price €3.5) and of Logicom €10,630 (up 1.33% – closing price €3.04).</p>
<p>Of the traded shares, 8 moved up, 3 down and 6 unchanged. The number of transactions reached 189.</p>
