The CSE ended the week with gains, with the General Index on Friday recording an increase of 0.21%, closing at 97.65 points.
The FTSE/CySE 20 Index showed an increase 0.24%, closing at 58.97 points. The daily turnover amounted to €173,915.
On a weekly basis, the CSE registered a loss of 0.42%.
Of the individual stock market indices, only the Alternative Market showed gains with 0.73%, with the Investment Companies sector recording no change. Hotels recorded a loss of 0.36% and the Main Market fell 0.09%.
Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investment interest with €107,889 (up 0.49% – closing price €2.05). The shares of Salamis Tours followed with €27,750 (up €1.65 – closing price €1.85), Petrolina (Hondings) with €20,107 (no change – closing price €1.18), Hellenic Bank with €5,425 (no change – closing price €1.55) and Demetra Holdings Plc with €4,859 (no change – closing price €0.49).
Of the shares that have trading, three moved up, six down and six unchanged. The number of transactions was limited to 68.
In the meantime, the Stock Exchange announced the listing on the Cyprus Stock Exchange in accordance with Article 58(1) of the Law on Securities and the Cyprus Stock Exchange of the CSE of 160,333 ordinary shares of the company “iDNA Genomics Public Ltd”, which were issued and granted by the method of the private placement to Mr. Fotis Sakellaridis, against consideration in kind which consists of 5% of the issued share capital of the company TheraCell Advanced Biotechnology S.A. with an estimated value of €3,848,004, i.e. with a price per share of €24, as well as their simultaneous entry into the Central Depository and Registry of the CSE in accordance with Articles 10(1) and (3) of the Securities and Cyprus Stock Exchange (Central Securities Depository and Central Register) of the Law.
It is noted that the above shares will be incorporated into the already listed share capital of the company, which will amount to 2,760,333 shares. Trading of the shares will begin on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
At the same time, the CSE announced that it has accepted for listing in accordance with Article 58(1) of the CSE Law, 18,567 new ordinary shares of the company Interfund Investments Plc with a nominal value of €0.13, which resulted from the exercise of the company's Preferential Rights , in accordance with the provisions of the Prospectus dated October 27, 2022. The Stock Exchange has also accepted their simultaneous entry in the Central Depository and Central Registry in accordance with the provisions of subsections (1) and (3) of Article 10 of the Securities and Securities Exchange Cyprus (Central Depository and Central Register of Securities) Laws.
The above shares will be incorporated into the already listed share capital of the company, which will amount to 112,812,324 shares. The trading of the above shares will begin on Monday, February 13, 2023.
Regarding the disposal of the shares corresponding to unexercised Preferential Rights and upon request of the company, the The Board of the Stock Exchange has decided to extend the period in question until February 28, 2023.
