Trading on the Cyprus Stock Exchange ended on a positive note on Thursday, with the General Index closing at 135.29 points, marking an increase of 0.59%.

As regards the individual stock indices, the Main Market closed at 103.39 points with a gain of 0.68%, the Alternative Market closed at 1,204 .66 points with a gain of 0.71%, Investments at 1,519.43 points with a gain of 0.43% and Hotels at 944.22 points with a gain of 2.15%.
The greatest investment interest gathered the shares of Bank of Cyprus at €144,760.22 (closing price €2.99 – up 1.01%), Logicom at €74,501.30 (closing price €3.10 – up 2.65%), Hellenic Bank with €64,243.03 (closing price €2.27 – down 0.44%), of Vassilikos Cement with €24,532.78 (closing price €3.12 – up 1.30%) and Demetra Holdings with €22,330, 87 (closing price €0.765 – up 0.66%).
Of the shares traded, 10 moved up, 6 down and 4 unchanged. The number of transactions amounted to 162.
