Kostas Agrotis leaves behind an irreplaceable void in the IT sector in Cyprus
With deep sadness and emotion, the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) announces the loss of Its President, Kostas Agrotis, a man who was a pioneer, visionary and cornerstone of our community.
Kostas Agrotis leaves behind an irreplaceable void in the IT sector in Cyprus. As President of CCS, he led with insight, stability and a unique sense of justice. Under his long-standing guidance, the Association progressed, became a point of reference, and contributed to the development of the IT sector in Cyprus. With his characteristic calmness, he managed to unite different views, create bridges of cooperation and chart a course for a better future.
Kostas was a man who knew no obstacles. Despite his long battle with cancer, he remained dedicated to his duties, offering with all his strength to the Association, to the people around him, and above all to his family. With his attitude towards difficulties, he showed us what courage, perseverance, patience and dignity means.
Kostas was not only an outstanding professional, but also a man of ethics, humanity and kindness. He was always willing to listen, guide and share his wisdom and experience. His benevolent nature and desire to bring out the best in others left an indelible mark on those who were lucky enough to know him.
Kostas' legacy is not only his professional achievements in all posts he served, but also the example of life he left us: to work with dedication, to face challenges with courage and to offer unconditionally. His memory will remain alive.
The Cyprus Computer Society is committed to continuing his work, following his shining example. His life and work will remain a source of inspiration for us all.
