The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 70.23 points, recording gains of 0.09%. The total value of the transactions amounted to €903,470.05.
As regards the individual stock indices, the Main Market rose by 0.15% to close at 84.77 units, the Alternative Market by 0.07% to close at 1,103.91 units and the Investment Market by 0.90% closing at 1,080.54 units. Hotels remained unchanged.
The biggest investment interest was attracted by the securities of Bank of Cyprus with €530,254.44 (closing price €2.83 – drop of 0.35%) and Alkis H. Hadjikyriacos (Frou-Frou Biscuits) Public Ltd with €340,368 (closing price €0.28 – unchanged). The shares of Cyprus Cement Public Company Ltd followed with €13,126.25 (closing price €0.625 – up 0.81%), Petrolina with €5,700 (closing price €1.14 – no change), Logicom with €2,974, 5 (closing price €2.26 – up 0.89%), Demetra Holdings with €2,806.02 (closing price €0.535 – up 0.94%) and Hellenic Bank with €2,426.95 (closing price €1 .92 – unchanged).
Of the stocks traded, five advanced, three declined and six remained unchanged. The number of transactions reached 29.
