EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will visit Cyprus on 5 March.
According to an announcement by the Presidency, the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis had a telephone conversation with Mr. Borel tonight.
“During the telephone conversation, Mr. Borel informed the President of the Republic that he intends to visit Cyprus on March 5-6, and during which they will have a meeting on March 5, at the Presidential Palace,” it is reported.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a Twitter post that Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulidis had a telephone conversation with the EU High Representative.
According to a post on Twitter by the Ministry, “Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulidis exchanged views in a telephone conversation with High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, on the latest developments in the Cyprus and Euro-Turkish relations. ».
