The Limassol team lodges an objection against the prestige of the match, after what preceded the cases of the yellow-greens. The Larnaca team claims that no violation took place, however the blue and whites claim the opposite.

The Apollon Football Company (Public) Ltd informs that it has submitted, earlier today, an objection to the competent bodies of the KOP, in relation to the prestige of the match AEK Larnaca – APOLLON Limassol that took place on 08/01/2022.
It was and continues to be our position that for such serious issues concerning the primacy of Public Health and secondarily of Cypriot Football, the KOP should immediately conduct a thorough investigation with the power it has and the means, in order to ensure the conditions of fair play and good fight.
We want to believe that the Federation will do the right thing, waiting for the results of the research ordered by the Ministry of Health, which, however, may take some days.
Guided by the protection of fair play and the obligation we have towards our world, we have today proceeded and submitted our objection, which we will support to the competent bodies, despite the fact that we firmly believe that we should not be forced to enter in the process of investigating and denouncing the correctness of the actions of the opposing team.
We express our confidence in sports justice and its procedures and we are confident that once again truth and law will prevail.
