Now the Deputy Ministry of Shipping is housed in three different buildings, which, according to the Deputy Minister, creates operational as well as practical problems. “Our aim is to create a suitable working environment at all levels that allows everyone to perform better and will offer quality service to the shipping industry and to the staff,” he pointed out. “As a first stage, intensive efforts are currently being made to find a suitable site on government land so that the design and construction processes of a new and modern building can proceed. I believe that very soon the decision on the space will be formalized and we will be able to announce it”, he said.
At the same time, Mrs. Chatzimanoli noted that the needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are constantly increasing, especially in personnel matters. . “At this point I should mention that, at the moment, we are in the process of filling 17 new positions with the aim of strengthening the deputy ministry, so that it can respond effectively and efficiently, in the execution of its duties and in the fulfillment of its obligations, towards the The European Union.
