The renewal of the circular until November 24, the date on which the new trial has been set, is requested by the doctors outside the General Health System (GeSY), who are being asked to leave the hospitals that are contracted to the GeSY from tomorrow, since during of today's hearing, it was decided to give time for the OAU and Hippocrates to prepare an objection.
In fact, as pointed out in the announcement of the OAU, given the development, the Agency's circular is valid and therefore the adjustment period given for full compliance has expired, while at the same time the Ministry of Health does not intend to issue a new circular for further extension.
Speaking on the state channel, the private Gastroenterologist dr. Savvas Kadis, who is one of the twenty or so doctors outside the NHS, who practice medicine in hospitals that are within the system, noted that there should be sensitivity from the institutions and a renewal of the circular, since it is expected that the their patients.
Specifically he noted that, “it is unfortunate that we have to come to the point of telling patients not to visit us. It's a difficult situation and he needs to clear it up in the coming weeks. I don't want to focus on the doctors, but on the patients, whom we have been serving for many decades. In the suffering they will receive, in how difficult it is to change this doctor-patient relationship that goes back decades”.
When asked what the next day will be like for them, Dr. Kadis said that there are no more hospitals since most of them are now within the system, and that they don't have many options.
At the same time, Dr. Kadis said that a huge moral issue arises from the whole issue and that they feel that they have been deceived. “We have the signatures of the former Minister of Health, the president of the OAU, which allowed us to do our work. This is how our hospitals entered the NHS and now they are throwing us in the waste bin. No action has been taken to honor these signatures. A great moral issue is also raised for the future, for those who will have future cooperation with the state, for what the signature with a minister ultimately means. Everyone should be able to act according to their personal choice and not private medicine must be demonized,” he explained.
Audit Service Fire
It is recalled that, the Audit Service opened fire against the OAU after the development in the courtrooms, and in its message on social media, noting that given the current process, he expects the OAU to comply.
At the same time, in his own message, the Auditor General, Odysseas Michaelidis, stated that the Service had highlighted the illegality of on 15.7.2020. while he left hints once again about the Organization's intention to allow the creation of a multi-insurance system.

However, I was invited to comment on theREPORTER what the Audit Service said , the Director of the OAU, Maria Kythraiotou, noted that the Organization was ready to comply with the legislation from November 1 and for this reason submitted an objection.
