The application period for the grant project for energy upgrading and strengthening the competitiveness of large enterprises is extended until September 20, 2024, at 23:59.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (YEEB) the total amount that will be allocated for the needs of the Plan, which is implemented within the framework of Measures C3.1I7 and C6.1I5 of the Recovery Plan and Resilience Fund (SFA) of Cyprus, amounts to €17 million, of which €10 million comes from the new EU REPowerEU Plan, through the corresponding capital in the Cyprus SFA and, therefore, only concerns categories of eligible costs that serve the objectives of REPowerEU.
It is stated that the applications and the related required supporting documents should be submitted only through the electronic System of Sponsorship Plans of the YEEB, on the website https://fundingapps.meci.gov.cy, explaining that the order of priority will be determined based on the order of submission of the proposals (immediate evaluation) and the maximum amount of approvals will not exceed the available budget of the Project.
