An official visit to Cyprus is being made today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Sameh Shoukry , following the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Constantinos Kobos.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as part of the visit he will have a personal meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Kobos, while then broadened consultations will follow with the participation of delegations from the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs. After the end of the consultations, the two Ministers will make statements to the media, while then Mr. Kombos will host a working lunch for his Egyptian counterpart.
At < strong>focus of the discussions will be, among other things, the bilateral relations between the two countries and the further deepening of Cyprus cooperation – of Egypt, the latest developments in the Cyprus issue, as well as regional developments, focusing on the situation in the Middle East.
Earlier on Thursday morning, Mr. Soukri will be received by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis.
