Vigilant with the aim of protecting ATA and restoring its full performance, the PEO Executive Council called the workers, according to its announcement.
The Council which met on Friday with the exclusive subject of the developments regarding the ATA, expressed its satisfaction with the handling so far. He called on employers' unions to abandon “their unacceptably negative attitude, which is outside the framework of what was agreed” and to come to the next meeting with the aim of reaching an agreement within the framework of the transitional agreement.
In addition, called on the government to assume its role and act “in such a way that there is an agreement for the performance of ATA based on its philosophy”. He also noted that the timetable set by the Minister must be respected for the next meeting.
The Executive Council hailed the unity of the trade union movement and the readiness for a collective response, an element it described as “of decisive importance” and called on workers to remain united and alert with the aim of protection of ATA and the restoration of its full performance.
“PEO assures the workers that it is ready once again to fight for a defense of ATA so that it plays its role in restoring the purchasing value of wages”, concludes the announcement of the Executive Council.
