The Administrative Court of First Instance of Athens ratified the decision of the Director of Foreigners of GADA Konstantinos Louziotis, which ordered the detention of the eight Turkish officers for three months.
The decision of the Directorate of Foreigners states that “alternative measures can not be implemented”, as it is estimated that “their behavior is a real present and a sufficiently serious threat to public order and national security.”
Thus, the eight Turkish officers, who had arrived in our country by helicopter one day after the coup attempt in Turkey, will remain detained in the police station of the Olympic Village.
