The official dinner of FIFPRO Europe for 2021, organized by the Pancyprian Footballers' Association (PA.S.P. ).
This is the first live gathering of the leaders of the European footballers' associations since the beginning of the pandemic, with this year's important FIFPRO Europe Congress being also electoral.
The Mayor of Limassol Mr. Nikos Nikolaidis, the President of the Cyprus Sports Organization (KOA) Mr. Andreas Michailidis and the General Secretary of the KOP Mr. Foivos Vakis were present at the opening ceremony. From the side of FIFPRO Europe, in addition to the vice-president (and executive president of PA.SP.) Mr. Spyros Neophytidis, present were the president Mr. Bobby Barns and the general secretary Mr. Jonas Baer Hoffman.
The dinner was attended by representatives of about 40 soccer associations of our continent, including various big names in European football, such as Damiano Tommasi (Italy), David Aganzo (Spain) and Euzebiusz Smolarek (Poland). The PA.S.P. was also represented by the Chairman of the Board. Mr. George Merkis.
Congress work will begin on Tuesday, the 7th of the month, at 09:00 at the St. Raphael in Limassol, where representatives of UEFA and the European Club Association (ECA) will also be present.
