Fire in dry grass and wild vegetation broke out around 14:14 between the communities of Lympia and Psevda, according to the representative of the Fire Service, Mr. Andreas Ketti. Six fire trucks from the Nicosia Fire Stations, EMAK and Athienou Rural, 2 from the Forest Department and 1 VAT from the Door Fund responded. According to the latest information, the fire is manageable.
In addition, according to Mr. Kettis, the Larnaca Fire Stations responded to a fire of dry grass and deciduous trees near the Good Village Community of Larnaca. The fire also affected two wooden stakes of the A.H.K., while houses were endangered. This Tower was brought under control.
