The First Ladies of Cyprus and Estonia went to the Christos Stelios Ioannou Foundation, the Makarios Hospital and the Archaeological Museum.
Warm welcome reserved the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Filippa Karsera Christodoulidis to the wife of the President of Estonia, Mrs. Sirje Karis, in the context of the official visit of Alar Karis.
After the official reception ceremony at the Presidential Palace, The First Ladies of Cyprus and Estonia went to the Christos Stelios Ioannou Foundation, where they were informed about the programs and visited the creative employment workshops.
The trainees welcomed the two First Ladies with Cypriot songs and dance, while they were offered traditional sweets and command.
Afterwards, Mrs. Christodoulidis and Karis went to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Makarei Hospital, where they talked with doctors and parents of premature newborns.
The First Lady of Estonia stated that she was impressed by the high level of services provided and congratulated the medical and nursing staff for their work.
The two First Lords completed their program with a tour of the Archaeological Museum, where they were welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Culture, dr. Lina Kassianidou and the Director of the Department of Antiquities Mr. George Georgiou.
