Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios sees enhanced prospects for a better tourist season as he expresses his satisfaction with the recent publications in the foreign press.
According to Mr. Perdios, at the same time, the fact is projected that our country is among the top five in the world in managing the pandemic and its consequences.

It is with great pleasure that we have seen a huge publicity in Britain, for the decision of the Cypriot Government to allow from 1 May onwards, the arrival of travelers from Britain who will be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, without the need for diagnostics test and quarantine. The issue was the first news in the largest news networks in the country, while at the same time highlighting the fact that our country is among the top five in the world in managing the pandemic and its consequences.
This event improves the prospects for the upcoming tourist season which will be further strengthened after the intensive consultations that the Ministry will have in March, with all travel organizers. In addition to consulting with tour operators, the Ministry of Transport and Hermes Airports will also be consulted with airlines.
