The First Phase (A1) of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway is in traffic
Delivered at 12 noon today at < strong>circulation of the First Phase (A1) of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway, as announced by the Engineering Project Office of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway, of the Department of Public Works of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.
In the announcement the Engineering Project Office of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway states that Phase A1 concerns a 7.5 km long motorway to connect the existing Nicosia – Limassol motorway (A1) with the Tseriou Avenue, as well as 10 km. connecting roads to restore connections with the existing road network.
He adds that this includes an uneven interchange despite the Idalio Industrial Area for entering the Nicosia – Limassol highway in both directions, a bridge connecting the existing old Nicosia road – Limassol (B1) with the Nicosia – Limassol (A1) highway, an uneven junction despite the Tseri Industrial Area and a level terminal roundabout at the junction with Tseri/Pefkos Avenues.
