A detention order for a period of seven days was issued today by the Limassol district court against four people, who were arrested in connection with the attack and injury of three other people, during a party at a house in Kato Polemidia.
The four suspects, 29, 27, 23 and 20 years old, were arrested yesterday, while two more people had been arrested, who are already under 8-day detention.
The attack took place around 19:00, on February 5, when six people, holding axes, sticks and knives, entered the house and attacked a group of attendees, injuring three people aged 33, 15 and 8.
The 33-year-old, who remains hospitalized at the Limassol General Hospital, has a left kidney injury, while the 15-year-old and the 8-year-old were discharged, after receiving treatment for the injuries they suffered, in the right arm and left palm, respectively. All injuries were reportedly caused by a sharp object.
Crimes are being investigated against those arrested, such as assault with causing real bodily harm, conspiracy to commit a crime, carrying a weapon to incite terror, possession of an offensive device, stabbing, etc.
