Apollo's first victory in this year's championship – Anorthosis remained at one point
Apollonas achieved a big “double” at “Antonis Papadopoulos” by beating Anorthosis 2-1 for the 2nd match of the championship and got its first victory for this year.
In the first half, the game was a bit divided, but in the only great chance Apollo found, he managed to make it 1-0 with Marques, while in stoppage time he missed a double chance to make it 2-0. without managing to score.
In the second half, Goula's team scored early, only in the 49th minute with Zmerhal, but Anorthosis reduced it in the 55th minute with Lopes, with “Kyria” looking for an equaliser, but failed to score a second goal.
The Limassol team ended the match with ten points due to Doregarai being sent off in the 90+5' with a second yellow-red card.
