The plan in relation to the gradual lifting of the epidemiological measures was examined today at the Presidential Palace by President Anastasiadis and the scientific advisory group.
According to an announcement by the President, the President of the Republic was informed by the members of the advisory scientific team about the current epidemiological picture of the country, after the implementation of stricter restrictive measures.
The members of the scientific team submitted their proposals in relation to the gradual lifting of the measures, the time horizon of de-escalation of the measures, the effective supervision of the health protocols, as well as for the program of laboratory tests.
The meeting today was also attended by the Ministers of Health, Labor and Education, representatives of OKYPY, as well as Professor Konstantinos Fellas, Chairman of the Special Committee for the psychological support of citizens.

The recommendations of the advisory scientific group will be elaborated by the competent Interministerial Committee, in order to complete the strategy of gradual de-escalation of the restrictive measures.
The goal of the Government is the removal of the measures to be done gradually and with specific planning, in order to maintain the epidemiological image of the country at levels that do not endanger public health.
The final decisions on the de-escalation strategy will be taken by the Council of Ministers.
