Regarding the decision of the Council of Ministers to take the measure “test to stay” in Primary and Secondary Education, the Ministry of Health informs that in a meeting held today, January 13, 2022 at the Ministry of Health, in the presence of Minister Michalis Hadjipandella, Minister Education of Mr. Prodromos Prodromos, the Head of the Scientific Advisory Committee Mr. Konstantinos Tsioutis and Officials of the Ministry of Health, the ways of optimal implementation of the above measure were examined.
The educational organizations will receive relevant information in a meeting that will take place on Monday, January 17, 2022, where the start date of the implementation of the measure “test to stay” will be announced. The aim is for schools to remain safe and operational, giving children the basic right to education.
